Of course, if you want to do more decorating and lot-placing and such with World Editor, that’s certainly a thing you can do. The parts that are decorated are lovely, however, and that area is enough to play in, I think. This is a large, mostly-empty American-West-style equestrian world with lots placed, but it is not completely decorated. (These are pics of V3 in that download folder.) It also doesn't need to be too big-I was going to be playing with no more than 40 Sims for this story. What are the best roadless custom worlds that can pass for the swampier parts of the South if you squint and take care with your neighborhood landscaping and fog emitters? I am happy with a world that's already built up, since I can always raze it to the ground and rebuild from the ashes.

It turns out a lot of the roadless worlds are vaguely Northern-Europe-in-the-Middle-Ages flavored, and I would like to find a custom world that requires a little less reconstructive surgery before I use one of those. I'm a bit hamstrung because I decided 'this is going to be a historical story!' and I really, really want a nice rural world with swamps and sinkholes and no modern roads to muck up the immersion. However, finding something with the right atmosphere is a little difficult. I then realized I could use a custom world. Also, Twinbrook has modern roads, modern roads means ice cream trucks, and the last thing I want is for my vampire's daughter to go running out to buy a brain freeze and accidentally burn herself alive, among other 'it's 1906, they probably don't HAVE nice asphalt-paved roads in that part of Simisouri, and certainly not a carpool to the Doopeas Corporate Towers!' problems.

And I feel like Twinbrook is a bit.fussy with the routing, which would mean plopping a lot down might be complicated, etc. However, I realized Twinbrook would need A LOT of shifting before I could place, say, my vampire's haunted mansion. I chose Twinbrook since I know it's swampy, foggy, and overall very 'is that a zombie behind that cypress knee, or is it just Tay Bayless' if you take a decent whack at it with CC. My initial idea was to take Twinbrook and perform major plastic surgery and extensive makeovers for both townies and buildings.
